Exciting polo at Castle Howard

Record number of spectators turn out to watch the Paladin Capital Castle Howard Cup 2012

A record number of spectators turned out to support the teams in another successful day of polo at this beautiful venue. The morning saw the finals of the Gough Trophy in which members of all ages and abilities fought hard to come out on top. For the first year in its existence, neither Joan or David Gough made it to the final two! The eventual winners were Bride McFarland who battled White Rose White in the final round.

VIP guests enjoyed a quintessentially English day with spectacular views over the pitch to the house, and food served by the Star Inn at Harome washed down with plenty of Champagne. A special day at a special venue.
