White Rose Polo Club Pro Ams victorious at the Nation’s Cup 2008

After 10 weeks of intense training, Team Pegasus, coached by White Rose’s HPA qualified Polo manager Tony Wesche, were victorious at the Yorkshire Nation Cup Pro Am Event 2008.

The Pro-Am competition is a mix of three amateurs and one professional battling it out for glory.  Six local people, who had little riding experience were split into 2 teams, Team Pegasus, coached at the White Rose Polo Club under the expert eye of Polo Manager Tony Wesche and Team Trojan, at the Beverley Polo Club by Ben Foreman.

This was a close game, watched by hundreds of spectators, resulting in Team Pegasus’ victory after a fantastic back hand shot straight into goal by Sarah Holland.

Congratulations go to Team Pegasus for their great achievement and Tony Wesche, for coaching his second Pro Am Team to victory.
