Summit Cup 2010

Fantastic weekend of polo

Hundreds of spectators came with picnic baskets full of Pimms and delicious food, to enjoy White Rose Polo Club's most prestigious event of the year. Glorious sunshine made this the most quintessentially English day out.

The Charlie Phillips Trophy saw a huge entry of eight teams this year, with Tally Ho Blue winning this very special plate, presented by Charlie Phillips himself.

For the first time, White Rose also hosted the Pro Am competition. Two  teams of players, with only six weeks of tuition under their belts, battled it out to win the silverware. Well done to the 'White Rose Phantoms' - our winners this year.

The Summit Polo team won the prestigious Summit Cup for a third year running' in a nailbiting 5th chukka, with the golden goal appropriately scored by the founder of White Rose and Managing Director of Summit Media, Hedley Aylott.

What a fantastic weekend!
